About the Author
Tom Morrissey was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. He enjoyed writing at an early age, where he was a columnist for his high school newspaper. He combined his love of writing with a passion for music and wrote and performed many songs with various rock bands during the 60’s and 70’s. Most noteworthy is the song he wrote for Ray Charles, “I Was on Georgia Time.” Tom became a US Marshal in 1975 ending up in Arizona where he retired as the Chief Deputy. All throughout his life, Tom has also studied martial arts, where he became a highly skilled instructor in the rare form of internal Chinese martial arts system – Shing Yi. Tom has a rich and varied background, loves to tell stories, and is now sharing his life’s experiences through his fictional characters.
